Job title: Production Supervisor
Location: Hull
Salary: Circa £30k Dependant on Experience
Hours: Mon - Fri 8:30am - 5pm
Purpose Of The Production Supervisor Role
Our client is looking for a proactive and hands-on Production Supervisor to lead and develop a team across six busy production lines. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing manufacturing business in Hull, where you will play a key role in driving performance, maintaining high standards, and fostering a positive, solutions-focused team environment.
Key Responsibilities For a Production Supervisor
* Lead, motivate and develop the production team across 6 production lines to consistently achieve KPIs.
* Drive a culture of continuous improvement and accountability within the team.
* Work closely with the Warehouse Operations Manager to implement and execute daily production plans.
* Identify and resolve issues quickly and efficiently to avoid downtime and maintain output.
* Support staff development through coaching, mentoring, and performance management.
* Monitor and maintain high standards of quality, safety, and productivity on the shop floor.
* Ensure accurate use and updating of the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
* Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments to meet production targets.
Key Requirements For a Production Supervisor
* Proven experience in a Production Supervisor role within a manufacturing environment.
* Strong people leadership and team development skills.
* Hands-on approach - willing to be on the shop floor, lead by example and get stuck in.
* Proactive, solutions-focused, and results-driven mindset.
* Confident problem solver with the ability to think on your feet and take initiative.
* Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
* Excellent communication and organisational skills.
