BMS Engineer
Alecto Recruitment is supporting our client who are recognised as one of the UK's leading specialists in the Building Management Systems sector.
Due to their continued growth, they are looking to hire a BMS Engineer who can cover London but this role also has the potential for EMEA Travel.
The Position:
This role has the opt in of travel and work on key sites across Europe but is not essential
Responsible for reviewing the operation of the BMS system and identifying and rectifying faults on the system.
Responsible for reviewing the operation of the BMS system, identifying improvements that can be made to the operation of the plant and carrying out strategy modifications to achieve this.
Carry out seasonal commissioning of plant where required to ensure it is still operating as per the original design intention based on the approved des ops.
Make recommendations for alteration and addition to the client's system to assist with tailoring the new BMS system and associated plant to the client's requirements.
Assist our clients on site M&E team with finding and fixing faults with the BMS system and associated field equipment.
Responsible for making backups of software and strategy files as required for all associated systems (Trend IQVision, Trend IQ and TONN)
Reviewing alarms on the BMS system to spot persistent issues and areas of concern.
Replacing faulty BMS controllers and field equipment where required.
Requirements:
We are seeking an experienced Building Management Systems BMS Engineer
Competent working on Trend or Tridium systems and certified with one of the two
Competent working with Trend IQ Vision and Trend IQ
Ability to fault find and resolve issues on sites with BMS Systems
Experienced in the servicing of BMS Systems on customer sites
Ability to correctly interpret and alter existing control strategy in BMS systems.
Knowledgeable with HVAC systems.
Electrically Competent
Salary / Benefits:
£55,000 - £58,000
£6825 Car Allowance or Company Car
25 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays and rising with service
7.5% Pension and rising to 10%
