Role:
Reporting to a HR Business Partner this role will coordinate and be involved in a range of HR activities including processes, approvals and communication to the business. This will include advising line managers on aspects of HR and day to day needs.
Working with the Centres of Excellence to update and cascade messaging you will also be heavily involved in supporting with line manager queries and education, particularly around Workday and various other systems.
Guiding, enabling and being a trusted point of contact in the People team this role will form a firm foundation for the business as a first point of contact for advise on a range of topics.
As our Human Resources Adviser you will:
* Dealing with various HR queries throughout the business, supporting and capturing areas for improvement, managing expectations well.
* Drive a self serve model by capturing queries and creating a knowledge base.
* Handling HR matters reliably and in accordance with legal requirements.
* Supporting the ER manager when needed with some ER activity which may include grievance and disciplinary.
* Assisting with some of the recruitment processes, internally and externally.
* Driving the business performance by creating a continuous improvement methodology in the people function.
* Supporting the Business partners in their role by understanding the challenges and seeking to offer solutions.
* Provide regular data packs for the business and be able to analyse the data to provide good insight and focus areas.
* Able to provide data and analysis of the key HR metrics to support the BP’s.
* We are looking for someone who has energy and a willingness to succeed. Tenacious and curious you will be happy to roll your sleeves up and support our people plan but also have a desire to develop and potentially move into a HR Business Partner or COE role.
* Its going to be busy so be prepared for that because we are a growing business and our systems and processes need to develop with us, but there is room to grow in this role and it is ideal grounding to get to know the business and achieve some real improvements in the People Team.
* You will build and maintain great working relationships with all of the People Team – Reward, Learning and Development, Talent and Resourcing. You will also work closely with other key stakeholders in the business areas such as the Communications team, and the Recruitment team.
* Organisational and administrative skills.
* Experience in an HR environment.
* Advising and working with senior leaders.
* IT programmes and HR systems preferably Workday.
* Strong aptitude in excel (pivot tables, advanced formatting), PowerPoint and reporting.
* Personable with strong communication and relationship building capabilities across all levels of the business.
* Driven and determined.
* Practical and logical; able to solve problems quickly.
* Able to offer sound advice in a confident and timely manner.
* Strong interpersonal skills and a good team player.
* Able to influence confidently.
* Resilient and up for the challenge of a very fast paced environment.
* Excellent level of Workday knowledge and understanding.
* Experience of data presentation such as Power BI or similar.
