Reporting to the Culture and Colleague Engagement Manager, you’ll shape our approach to inclusion and wellbeing, working with stakeholders across the business and external partners to build collective ownership and to embed best practice at every level. You’ll champion allyship, close engagement gaps, and support our networks and communities, using data and insight to drive continuous improvement.
With proven experience in inclusion or wellbeing you’ll bring subject matter expertise, strong project management, and outstanding communication skills.

Responsibilities
Inclusion & Wellbeing Strategy
· Develop, socialise, and deliver the Inclusion and Wellbeing strategy in partnership with HR and key stakeholders.
· Collaborate with external partners to seek out best practice and innovation. Develop relationships with external organisations/partners to support the achievement of our aims.
· Support the review and enhancement of people policies, resources, and toolkits, applying an inclusion lens to every process, workflow, and initiative.
· Enable and promote allyship across the organisation, closing engagement sentiment gaps and supporting intersectionality.
· Own the Calendar of Inclusion and Wellbeing events - lead working parties, manage available budget/resources, and engage with key stakeholders to deliver a schedule of engaging events.
Data, Insight & Continuous Improvement
· Take an insight-led approach, working with the People Insight team to surface key data and inform plans, monitor progress, and measure success.
· Deliver fresh insight from internal and external sources, shaping activity and influencing thinking at all levels.
· Regularly review and report on progress, using data to inform continuous improvement in both areas.
· Develop and deliver compelling narratives that inspire, inform, and influence, ensuring key messages resonate across diverse audiences.
· Continuously build personal knowledge on I&D and keep up to date with industry trends and best practices.
Stakeholder Engagement & Communication
· Engage with key stakeholders across the business – driving shared accountability and collective ownership for all things inclusion and wellbeing.
· Collaborate with internal comms and HR teams to ensure effective communication plans for key events throughout the year.
· Be a role model for inclusive and accessible communications.
· Act as a visible ambassador for inclusion and wellbeing by delivering engaging presentations, workshops, and briefings to colleagues at all levels of the business.
Inclusion Networks & Collaboration
· Lead the setup, implementation, and mobilisation of new networks and communities aligned with the Inclusion Strategy.
· Work closely with network chairs and board sponsors to mature our networks, ensuring they have impact and add value to colleagues and the wider business.
· Facilitate regular and effective dialogue between network chairs, ensuring alignment with the overall Inclusion strategy.
· Support discussions around planned activity and intersectionality of agendas, identifying opportunities for meaningful collaboration.
· Connect with I&D colleagues across Kingfisher to identify opportunities to collaborate, support, and learn from each other.
Qualifications
10. Relevant Experience: Demonstrable experience working within the inclusion, diversity, or wellbeing field - either as a core responsibility or as a significant part of a previous role. You should be able to evidence your practical involvement in developing, implementing, or supporting inclusion and/or wellbeing initiatives within an organisation.
11. Subject Matter Expertise: Deep understanding of inclusion and wellbeing principles, frameworks, and best practices. You will be recognised as a subject matter expert, able to provide credible advice, guidance, and thought leadership to colleagues at all levels.
12. Project Management: Track record of developing and implementing I&W or other people initiatives which have contributed to achieving business objectives. Your planning, organisational and project management skills are a strength, you enjoy a fast paced, ever-changing business, managing multiple demands. You plan ahead, anticipate problems and develop contingency plans to ensure you can meet deadlines.
13. Stakeholder Management: Excellent stakeholder management skills with experience engaging stakeholders at all levels of an organisation.
14. Commercially minded: You will be able to articulate the business case for I&W to a range of audiences using excellent communication skills.
15. Communication: Proven ability to present in an engaging, accessible, and persuasive manner to a variety of audiences, from frontline colleagues to senior leaders. Skilled in crafting and delivering clear, impactful narratives that drive understanding and action around inclusion and wellbeing. Comfortable using a range of presentation tools and techniques, with experience facilitating interactive sessions and responding to questions with credibility and confidence.
