This position is based in Essex at our, which processes circa ,t of residual waste per annum and produces electricity to power in the region of, 60, homes.
TheProduction Shift Team Leaderoperateswithin a 5-shift rotasystem andis responsible forall production and operational coordination activitiesrequiredtooperatetheRivenhallfacility in a safe,efficientand compliant manner.
This position will also be responsible for the management of a small team of Production Operators, ensuring ongoing development and training needs are met.

Role & Responsibilities
1. Coordination of all production and material handling processes within the facility, and the maintenance of the facility in a clean and tidy mannerat all times, whilstoperatingon a24 hour/ days per year basis
2. Consumable and additive management
3. Coordination of external production support services
4. Coordinationwith the maintenance teamand facilitation of maintenance activities withinthe facility
5. Identification and scope determination of operational improvement projects that simplify,standardiseor improve the operability and/or compliance of the facility
6. Leading, developing and motivating the ProductionShiftTeam to deliver operational excellence across all facility operations
7. Participate in the development,controland optimisation of operational budgetsin conjunction with the Production Manager
Experience and Qualifications Required
8. Ideally HNC/HND educated, in a technical or process related area of study but significant applicable experiencewill be acceptable in lieu ofqualifications
9. Proven operational shift experience within a power generation or continuous process industry. Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.Minimum 2 years people management experience.
10. Knowledge and experience within aHigh Temperature Continuous Process (metallurgy, power generation, cement industry, petrochemicals)
11. Attention to detail
12. Unrelenting focus on continuous improvement of the facility and the people who work within it
13. Must be eligible to work in the UK, as no visa sponsorship will be offered for this position
