SEN Tutor Salary: £25 - £35 Per hour Job Duties: Provide tailored educational support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) Develop and implement individualised learning plans based on students' needs Deliver engaging and interactive lessons to enhance students' academic progress Assess students' progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other support staff to create a supportive learning environment Maintain accurate records of student progress and achievements Required Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Experience working with students with SEN Knowledge of SEN strategies and interventions Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Education: Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or related field Postgraduate qualifications in Special Education would be advantageous Experience: At least 2 years of experience in teaching or tutoring students with SEN Demonstrated success in improving students' academic performance Knowledge and Skills: Understanding of different learning styles and ability to adapt teaching methods accordingly Ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues Strong organisational skills and attention to detail Preferred Qualifications: Additional training in specific SEN areas such as Autism or Dyslexia Experience using assistive technology to support students with SEN Working Conditions: Part-Time hours, flexible schedule Work primarily in educational settings such as schools or learning centres Potential travel to different locations to work with students All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
