11kV Senior Authorised Persons – Switchgear & Transformer Replacements – Long Term Contracts – Outside IR35 – North of England – ASAP Start
We are working in partnership with a successful subcontractor who are seeking experienced 11kV Senior Authorised Persons to support a long term programme of substation refurbishment works, with a strong focus on switchgear replacements and transformer change outs across the North of England.
Responsibilities:
* Act as Senior Authorised Person for all 11kV operations, ensuring Safety from the System at all times.
* Plan, prepare and execute HV switching schedules to facilitate switchgear and transformer replacements.
* Carry out and oversee 11kV switching, isolations, earthing and restoration activities.
* Manage transformer removals, installations and commissioning interfaces.
* Oversee switchgear change outs, upgrades and substation refurbishment works.
* Prepare, issue and control safety documentation and permits in line with DNO procedures.
* Develop, review and implement RAMs for high-risk switching and lifting activities.
* Maintain clear communication with the control room, site teams and contractors throughout outages.
Requirements:
* 11kV Senior Authorised Person under a UK DNO.
* Must be a full SAP with no limitations.
* Strong, demonstrable experience delivering HV switching.
* Proven background in substation works, specifically switchgear and transformer replacements.
* Based in, or willing to travel across, the North of England.
* Full UK driving license.
