About the Role:
This is a varied and hands-on role perfect for someone looking to develop their skills in both web administration and IT support within a professional office setting. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of our website, providing first-line IT support to our team, and contributing to various technical projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Website Maintenance & Administration:
* Updating website content (text, images, job postings) accurately and efficiently using our Content Management System (CMS).
* Ensuring website functionality, identifying and reporting any technical issues.
* Liaising with external web developers for more complex updates and projects.
* Monitoring website analytics and providing basic reports.
IT Support:
* Providing first-line technical support to staff on hardware (laptops, printers, mobile devices), software (Microsoft Office Suite, CRM systems), and network issues.
* Troubleshooting basic IT problems and escalating complex issues to external IT support providers.
* Setting up new user accounts and managing access permissions.
* Assisting with the maintenance of IT equipment and inventory.
* Ensuring data security and adherence to IT policies.
General Administrative & Technical Tasks:
* Assisting with the setup and maintenance of video conferencing and presentation equipment.
* Managing software licenses and subscriptions.
* Contributing to ad-hoc technical projects as required.
* Maintaining accurate records of IT issues and resolutions.
About You:
* A strong interest in web technologies and IT support.
* Basic experience with website content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress, Drupal, or similar.
* Good understanding of basic IT principles and troubleshooting.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
* Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
* Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability 1 to explain technical issues clearly to non-technical users.
