The Role: Manufacturing Engineer An opportunity has arisen for a Manufacturing Engineer to join the structural airframe components function within the UK operation. The role will play a key part in developing, improving, and supporting advanced manufacturing processes from concept through to production.
Key Responsibilities NC programming using CATIA V5
NC program simulation using Vericut
Creation and maintenance of manufacturing routings
Development of detailed process instructions
Supporting shop floor prove-out of new and existing processes
Design and manufacture of tooling and fixturing in line with business requirements
Identifying and implementing opportunities for manufacturing process improvements
Providing cross-functional support to other areas of the business as required
Essential Skills & Experience Strong problem-solving ability, high work ethic, and professional integrity
Minimum 5 years' experience programming CATIA V5 for complex aerospace components
Proven experience designing and implementing manufacturing fixturing
Hands-on experience machining a range of materials, primarily Aluminium and Titanium
Team-oriented mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and efficiency
Self-motivated, proactive, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment
Clear alignment with values centred around excellence, innovation, and collaboration
Desirable Experience Vericut simulation experience
Experience operating and/or programming Mazak machine tools
