Requirements:
* Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
* Proven experience (8-13 years) in designing, developing, and implementing low voltage secondary systems for power distribution applications.
* Proficiency in Engineering Base software for creating engineering drawings and schematics.
* Strong understanding of electrical principles, power distribution fundamentals, and low voltage equipment.
* Experience with protective relay coordination, arc flash analysis, and fault current calculations.
* Knowledge of relevant industry standards and codes such as IEC, NEC, IEEE, and NEMA.
* Project management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks to meet project deadlines.
Responsibilities:
* Designing electrical control and protection cubicles, and low voltage secondary wiring diagrams, utilizing Engineering Base software.
* Design, develop, and oversee the implementation of electrical control and protection cubicles for industrial applications.
* Create detailed specifications and general arrangement drawings for cubicles, ensuring compliance with standards and client requirements.
* Collaborate with electrical engineers and project managers to meet project goals and technical requirements.
* Conduct feasibility studies and propose design solutions to optimize space, functionality, and efficiency.
* Ensure design compliance with safety standards, electrical codes, and regulations.
* Prepare bills of materials (BOM) and technical documentation for cubicle designs.
* Maintain knowledge of electrical components and latest market materials to optimize design.
* Support manufacturing and installation teams during production and assembly phases.
* Review vendor proposals and technical submissions related to cubicle components.
