The Role You will be the vital link between the customers, the Account Managers, and the operations, ensuring the sales process is smooth, efficient, and customer focused. Handle all aspects of customer service, including incoming emails and calls, providing accurate ETAs (Estimated Time of Arrival) on orders, and maintaining strong communication. Provide direct support to Account Managers, including preparing quotes, assisting with Demo Kit requests, and replying to customer/supplier inquiries when they are unavailable. Load and manage sales orders within the CRM, ensuring all information is accurate prior to approval. Work closely with the supply chain and manufacturers on stock queries and carry out data admin for stock allocation. Take part in product training to stay up to date with new products and occasionally attend customer meetings (virtual or physical). Skills and Qualifications They need a dedicated problem-solver who can work on their own initiative and thrives in a supportive team environment. You should possess strong communication skills with multiple internal departments and the ability to converse effectively with customers and people throughout the organisation, from Director-level down. You possess excellent accuracy and attention to detail. You are naturally focused on the customer experience and dedicated to providing excellent service. You have experience using a CRM and a good understanding of Microsoft Office. You are happy working in a semi-rural environment and able to build effective relationships across departments.
