DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a talented Regional Manufacturing Operations Manager to join our team specializing in System & Information Technology who will be based on our Darlington site, United Kingdom.

1. Ensure Reliable IT Service Delivery:By overseeing software and infrastructure operations, youll guarantee consistent, high-quality IT services that support business continuity and growth.
2. Optimize Resource Utilization:Through effective planning, organizing, and staffing, youll maximize the use of available resources to achieve organizational goals efficiently.
3. Drive Service Performance and Standards:Implementing and monitoring SLAs, scorecards, and customer satisfaction metrics will help maintain high service standards across regions.
4. Champion Process Improvement:By promoting Six Sigma and ITIL best practices, youll reduce costs, streamline workflows, and enhance service quality.
5. Strengthen Customer and Supplier Relationships:Acting as a key contact for service-related inquiries, youll build trust and foster collaboration between IT, business units, and external partners.
6. Enable Strategic Decision-Making:Your participation in budgeting and forecasting will ensure IT services align with financial goals and future business needs.
7. Enhance Knowledge Management:Maintaining accurate service documentation and procedures will improve operational efficiency and support continuous learning within the team.
8. Identify and Implement Service Improvements: By proactively spotting opportunities for enhancement and driving change requests, youll keep IT services evolving to meet business demands.
RESPONSIBILITIES
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
9. Strong Stakeholder Management Skills:Build and maintain trusted relationships with Site/BU IT Leaders, Manufacturing, Technical, and Logistics leaders to understand priorities and influence IT engagement processes.
10. Deep Knowledge of Enterprise IT Platforms and Processes:Be well-versed in project planning, architecture, security, and compliance frameworks to guide business teams in correctly engaging IT services.
11. Operational Leadership and Regional Alignment:Coordinate IT service delivery across multiple mission-critical sites, ensuring alignment with regional objectives and global platform initiatives.
12. Technical Expertise and Problem-Solving Ability:Act as a subject matter expert for manufacturing IT issues, collaborating with CMES, Cybersecurity, and Ops teams to resolve incidents and provide technical guidance across regions.
13. Regulatory and Compliance Awareness:Understand country-specific employment laws, import/export compliance, and purchasing rules for MDaaS technologies to ensure legal and operational adherence.
14. Financial and Vendor Management Skills:Support regional IT financial planning (forecasting, expense management) and leverage vendor management frameworks to optimize supplier performance and control costs.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education/ Experience
15. College, university, or equivalent degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or related subject, or relevant equivalent experience required.
16. Significant IT experience required including supervisory experience. 4-6 years of relevant experience required.
17. This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations
18. Driving licence required.
