MK Search are working with a well respected M&E contractor with a strong presence across sectors who are looking for a mechanical site manager to join their team on a notable commercial scheme they are delivering in Heathrow. Reporting to a mechanical lead, you will support in the day to day management and co-ordination of specialist contractors across the project to completion Key Responsibilities: • Coordinate and supervise day-to-day mechanical installation activities on-site. • Manage direct labour and subcontractors, ensuring adherence to project plans and safety standards. • Liaise with clients and main contractors, project managers, and other site trades. • Monitor and enforce health & safety compliance, including RAMS, toolbox talks, PPE checks, and site inductions. • Track progress against programme, identify risks or delays, and report to project management. • Maintain accurate site records including daily diaries, time sheets, and material / plant requisitions. • Participate in site meetings and inspections, including snagging and handover preparations • Read and interpret drawings to ensure installations capture design construction issue drawings and specifications. • Management of orders for pipework fittings and hire of plant. • Assist with mechanical testing, commissioning support, and fault resolution. • Ensure works meets quality standards and regulatory requirements. &bul...
