Job Description
A fast-growing consumer electronics brand is seeking a Packaging Designer to join its expanding design team. With strong international growth across all channels, the business is now focused on accelerating performance through an ambitious pipeline of new product launches.
This is a highly impactful role within the organisation, with full ownership of the packaging design and specification across the entire product range. You will play a key part in shaping how the brand shows up on shelf and online, working at the heart of the product launch process.
This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented designer who is eager to take end-to-end ownership of the packaging design process and make a tangible impact in a fast-paced, growing business.
The Role
* Produce accurate, print-ready packaging artwork across all SKUs
* Manage artwork versioning and localisation
* Implement regulatory updates, including symbols, statements, and certifications
* Prepare files for printers and manufacturers
* Ensure consistency across packaging ranges
* Liaise with factories on packaging materials and production methods, supporting sustainable best practices
* Archive, document, and manage final artwork correctly
* Collaborate creatively on packaging updates and design developments
* Provide digital artwork support when required
About You
* Is comfortable working behind the scenes and liaising with external stakeholders (factories and printers)
* Can manage an artwork calendar with multiple deadlines and clear progress reporting
* Is extremely organised with excellent attention to detail
* Is confident quality-checking their own work before senior creative review
* Has strong print production knowledge
* Has proven packaging design and/or artworking experience
Experience & Skills
* 3+ years’ experience in print design and print production
* Live packaging design and production experience preferred
* Hands-on experience taking packaging to print multiple times across variants
* Strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop)
* Good working understanding of Figma
This is a hybrid role, with two days in the Surrey office and three days from home.
Salary is £35 000 - £40 000 depending on experience.
