An excellent opportunity has become available for a qualified General Handy Person to join a facilities management team working on a secure government site in Redditch, Worcestershire. The successful General Handy Person will work as part of a team carrying out general maintenance tasks across the site.
The position involves 39 hours per week across 7 days, including a 1 in 3 weekend shift pattern:
Week 1 : Monday to Friday with the weekend off
Week 2 : Monday Rest Day, Tuesday to Sunday working
Week 3 : Monday to Thursday working with Fri, Sat and Sunday off
There may also be participation in an on:call rota, with additional allowance and optional overtime available.
General Handy Person Requirements:
Solid experience in DIY/ general building maintenance. Willingness to learn new skills. Ability to work well in a team. CITB relevant certification or equivalent, or an NVQ trade qualification, would be preferred. Hold full driving licence.
