Our client, a prominent player in the aerospace sector, is seeking a Senior Electrical AIT Engineer to join their dynamic team in Harwell. This role offers the unique opportunity to work at the forefront of space exploration, specialising in advanced space sensors and communication technology. Key Responsibilities: Lead and coordinate all phases of AIT for a payload Perform electrical integration of the unit under test (UUT) to test benches/test equipment Prepare, implement, and support EVT campaigns, including procedures and bespoke EGSE Produce test plans/procedures from test specifications to ensure requirements are met and verified Perform functional and performance testing Create automated test scripts to control/test the UUT and the supporting electrical ground support equipment (EGSE) Produce technical reports after test execution Adhere to cleanroom procedures and protocols, ensuring all policies are followed Maintain and validate EGSE Schedule and plan for AIT support for all activities Liaise with internal and external stakeholders Job Requirements: Degree in Electrical Engineering, Maths, or Physics Proven knowledge of testing processes, cycles, and approaches Experience with satellite AIT and flows Experience in working with and configuring Linux-based systems including shell commanding Experience in communications system engineering Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Experience in providing inputs to proposals from ESA Desirable experience in the space industry, phased array antennas, and on-board processing technology If you are a skilled Senior Electrical AIT Engineer looking to advance your career within the aerospace sector, we would love to hear from you.
