The Material Handler will provide support in respect to Stores to include booking in, kitting, packing, distribution and inventory control of stock, supporting the Inventory Manager. Work collaboratively with other departments, including: planning, production, procurement to deliver to lean manufacturing objectives and customer demand.
Responsibilities
1. Receiving and inspecting incoming deliveries.
2. Booking and locating materials into the stock management system.
3. Controlled issue of stock.
4. Picking material kits for project and production assembly teams.
5. Control and monitoring of stock movements using D.
6. Maintenance of FIFO principles.
7. Maintenance of Kanban system.
8. Cyclic counting.
9. Loading and unloading of goods using forklift trucks.

10. Ability to maintain diligence and accuracy while under pressure.
11. Flexible in their approach to work with a willing to adapt to fit the business need.
12. Can communicate effectively, both written and verbally to both peers and managers.
13. Strong administrative skills.
14. The ability to adhere to defined processes.
15. Flexible, conscientious, diligent, methodical.
16. Counter balance and Bendi Forklift trained, holding current certificates.
Qualifications
17. Minimum of 2 years’ experience in stores environment, covering goods inward, picking, packing and despatch.
18. Experience of working with computerized stock management system is essential.
19. Methodical and accurate record keeping
20. Able to integrate well into an established team supporting and assisting colleagues.
21. Experience with Microsoft Excel and Outlook an advantage.
Knowledge, Training and Qualifications if required:
22. Counter balance and Bendi Forklift, holding current certificates.
23. Knowledge of D useful but not essential.
