Samuel Frank is recruiting for a Service Engineer to join a special purpose machine manufacturer with a base just North of Manchester.
Key aspects of the Service Engineer role include
1. Someone who has experience of working on special purpose machinery and is happy getting their hands dirty, knows what a safety system is and is good at dealing with customers
2. Service Engineer role could suit a Maintenance Electrician i.e. an Electrician from a machinery background who is used to being on the tools, with experience of working with PLCs and variable speed drives and is also happy to travel globally
3. Knowledge of Siemens PLCs is important the successful Service Engineer will be able to review code, interrogate, find faults and ideally modify
4. Working on machines that have been designed with sustainability and the circular economy in mind, integrating biodegradable and compostable materials in their machines capabilities
