We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee the daily operations of our establishment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hospitality and culinary arts, ensuring that our restaurant maintains high standards of food quality, service, and customer satisfaction. This role requires effective leadership skills to manage a diverse team and foster a positive work environment.
Responsibilities
* Oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, including food preparation, cooking, and service.
* Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
* Manage inventory, including food production and supplies, to optimise efficiency and reduce waste.
* Supervise staff, providing training and support to enhance their skills in hospitality and customer service.
* Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to improve service delivery.
* Handle customer inquiries and complaints in a professional manner to ensure satisfaction.
* Collaborate with the culinary team to create innovative menus that reflect current trends.
* Monitor financial performance, including budgeting and cost control measures.
Skills
* Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar role within the hospitality industry.
* Strong culinary experience with knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods.
* Excellent leadership abilities with a focus on team management and development.
* Solid understanding of food safety standards and regulations.
* Previous experience in supervising staff within a fast-paced environment.
* Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with customers and team members.
* Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail in all aspects of service.
