The Opportunity
Are you ready to lead the charge in renewable roofing solutions?
We're looking for a passionate and knowledgeable Business Development Manager – Solar PV to expand and champion our renewable energy offering across the Southeast and East Anglia region. This is a high-impact role where you’ll act as the regional expert in Solar PV, driving growth, customer engagement, and product innovation.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and expand our Solar PV customer base across the region
* Act as the go-to expert for sustainable roofing solutions
* Collaborate with branches and external sales teams to identify and support solar opportunities
* Enhance profitability and ensure product availability in line with customer needs
* Identify and onboard new suppliers with innovative product offerings
* Support training initiatives to upskill both internal teams and external customers
* Drive SIG Roofing’s positioning as a key player in the PV roofing market
What You’ll Bring
* In-depth knowledge of Solar PV systems and sustainable building practices
* Strong understanding of building legislation related to renewables
* Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills
* Confidence working across all levels—both internally and externally
* Proficient IT and CRM system skills
* A proactive, self-motivated, and independent working style
* A full UK driving licence (essential)
