About the Role
P+S Recruitment are pleased to be working on behalf of our clients, who are currently seeking a QHSE Officer to join their team based in Great Yarmouth on a full-time, permanent basis.
Main Responsibilities
* Quality (ISO 9001)
o Maintain and continuously improve the ISO 9001 Quality Management System
o Conduct internal audits and coordinate external audits
o Manage non-conformance reports (NCRs) and corrective/preventive actions
o Ensure documentation control and process standardisation
o Support operational teams in maintaining quality standards in engine parts supply and distribution
* Health & Safety (ISO 45001)
o Ensure compliance with UK health & safety legislation
o Conduct risk assessments, method statements (RAMS), and safety inspections
o Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, implementing corrective actions
o Deliver toolbox talks and internal H&S training
o Promote a strong safety culture across all departments
* Environmental (ISO 14001)
o Maintain and improve the Environmental Management System
o Monitor environmental performance and ensure compliance with regulations
o Manage waste disposal, recycling, and sustainability initiatives
o Support reduction of environmental impact across operations
* General QHSE Duties
o Maintain integrated ISO management system (9001, 14001, 45001)
o Prepare for and lead external certification audits
o Ensure policies, procedures, and records are up to date
o Liaise with regulatory bodies and external auditors
o Provide QHSE reports and KPIs to senior management
o Drive continuous improvement initiatives
o Any other duties considered necessary to fulfil the role.
o Support with QHSE requirements of commercial documents
o Facilities Management.
Person Specification
* Proven experience in a QHSE role within an industrial, engineering, or supply chain environment
* Demonstrable experience maintaining and auditing:
o ISO 9001 (Quality Management)
o ISO 14001 (Environmental Management)
o ISO 45001 (Health & Safety Management)
* Experience preparing for and supporting external audits
* Strong understanding of UK HSE legislation
