About the team
The CRM & Sales Tools team within Enterprise Merchant Operations works closely with the business and Sales Operations team to design and develop the strategic CRM tools which enable Sales, Marketing, Demand Generation, Customer Support and other supporting company departments to maximise operational leverage in serving our global customers.
What you will be doing
In this role you will leverage your expertise in Salesforce development methodologies, best practice and UX/UI to design scalable solutions that will meet the functional and technical needs of a best-in-class CRM offering. You will always endeavour for clicks-over-code, but will leverage the right tool for the task across Integrations, Aura, LWC, APEX and Flows, providing reliable predictions of effort, feeding into capacity plans. You will also participate in development tasks.
Lead the design and development of custom Salesforce solutions that meet stakeholder requirements and business objectives.
Architect scalable and extensible solutions that leverage Salesforce platform capabilities and best practices.
Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to Salesforce coding standards and best practices.
Stay current on Salesforce product updates, new features, and industry trends.
You will turn User Stories and Acceptance Criteria into technical designs to satisfy the business needs.
You will participate regular refinement sessions to deep-dive requests from the business.
You will define the skill level required for a task and give reliable resourcing forecasts.
You will work closely with the Product Owners and Quality Assurance teams to ensure any User Story is vetted diligently against business needs and any solution is methodically tested.
You will work closely with Sales Operations and leadership to understand the directional trajectory of business needs and how these effect solution designs.
You will work closely with the other Salesforce Architects to ensure cohesion of approach.
What you bring:
Salesforce Technical Architect Certification
Salesforce Developer DEV401/Platform Developer 2 certification and more
5+ years’ experience of Administration, Integrations, Aura, LWC, APEX and Visualforce
Demonstrable experience as a Salesforce Architect
Extensive knowledge & experience of Digital Experience/Community Cloud
Extensive knowledge & experience of Single Sign-On and Multi Factor Identification
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
