Responsibilities as a HR Business Partner
* Serve as a people and culture partner to people managers in the UK, providing guidance and support in all areas of human resources management.
* Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business objectives.
* Work closely with the People Learning & Development Specialist to foster a culture of growth and development.
* Collaborate with management to identify talent needs and develop effective talent acquisition strategies.
* Partner with the global TA team to support recruitment and onboarding processes.
* Conduct employee evaluations and performance reviews, providing feedback and coaching.
* Address employee relations issues to ensure a positive work environment.
* Assist in strategic workforce planning initiatives.
* Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations.
* Support the diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) agenda in the UK.
* Manage ER matters, including grievances, disciplinary actions, and workplace investigations.
* Implement organizational changes such as promotions and reporting lines.
* Collaborate with payroll to ensure accurate records and benefits administration.
* Manage health and wellbeing plans to promote employee wellness.
* Maintain HR administrative records and generate HR reports and insights.
* Update HR systems and analyze data for continuous improvement.
* Perform any additional duties as assigned by the Senior Manager – Human Resources.
Requirements as a HR Business Partner
* Degree in HR or a related discipline (3rd level or above).
* CIPD qualification and membership are desirable.
* At least 4 years of HR experience at a Business Partner/Generalist level, preferably in healthcare or medical devices.
* Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office Suite.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Deep knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations.
* Experience with talent management, performance management, and leadership development.
* Experience managing redundancy and HR projects.
* Outstanding administrative and time-management skills.
* Proactive with a sense of urgency.
* Self-aware, quick learner, and committed to continuous improvement.
* Strong problem-solving skills and independent decision-making ability.
* Professional and commercial approach to HR.
* Excellent interpersonal, coaching, and mentoring skills.
* Discretion and confidentiality in all HR matters.
