Base pay range
Core subject (Maths, English, or Science) SEN / SEND Tutors for Young People with SEND, SEMH, and other Additional Educational Needs required in Lincolnshire.
Multiple positions are available, and hiring is ongoing to meet the wide variety of needs we support.
We are on a mission to transform the quality of education provided to young people with SEN (Special Education Needs) / SEND (Special Education Needs and Disabilities), as well as other needs such as SEMH needs (Social, Emotional and Mental Health). We are increasing support for children and young people with MLD (Moderate Learning Difficulties) and SLD (Severe Learning Difficulties).
We are looking for SEN / SEND tutors with a genuine passion for transforming the lives of disengaged, at-risk, and vulnerable learners in Lincolnshire.
At Targeted Provision, our mission is to raise the standard of educational support offered to vulnerable young people in the UK. You will be supported throughout every placement by our team of SEN / SEND Support Specialists.
This role is perfect for qualified SEN / SEND teachers eager to work via 1:1 tutoring with children and young people with various learning needs, in a creative, flexible, holistic, and trauma-informed manner, to raise engagement and improve their educational outlook.

The SEN / SEND Tutor Role
* Providing Maths, English, or Science tuition to young people with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, or other needs referred to Targeted Provision
* Supporting young people in their educational and social-emotional journey through flexible, trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring
SEN / SEND Tutor Tasks and Responsibilities
* Planning engaging and needs-based sessions
* Providing holistic support that advances their educational and social-emotional development
* Completing lesson reports and providing progress feedback
SEN / SEND Tutor Requirements
* Professional Teaching Qualifications (QTS / QTLS)
* Minimum 2 years teaching experience
* Experience working with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, or other needs
* Knowledge of safeguarding procedures
* Enhanced DBS (assistance available to obtain)
* Two professional references
* Right to work in the UK
It is a strict requirement to promote health, safety, and wellbeing, following safeguarding policies at all times.
SEN / SEND Tutor Employment Status
* Engaging as a Worker for short-term placements
* Paid via PAYE, through a contract for service
* No set hours or expenses covered
* Insurance provided, not a self-employed position
