A Senior UX Researcher leads a team's understanding of user behaviours, needs and motivations. She/he leads the UX Research strategy for a business or product line. She/he is an expert user of a number of research and testing methodologies. She/he informally mentors other researchers.
The ideal candidate will have the following responsibilities:
* Deeply understands customer use cases and market segments.
* Collaborates closely with UX Designers to ensure user feedback shapes design.
* Coaches teams to align with customer needs and shares research findings.
* Stays informed about competitors and regulatory environments.
* Analyzes briefs to ensure the right problems are addressed.
* Presents research insights to stakeholders and guides future projects.
* Leads user-centered research processes and mentors junior researchers.
* Applies a range of UX research techniques and creates documentation.
* Regularly tests design work with users and uses data to set project metrics.
* Expert in research analysis tools and software (e.g., Qualtrics, Lookback, Usertesting.com).
* Mentors junior researchers in technical skills and builds relationships with tech teams.
