Role Description
This is a full-time on-site position based in Sandwell and Dudley for an ICT Network Manager. The role involves managing and maintaining the school's ICT infrastructure, ensuring network security, and troubleshooting technical issues. Responsibilities include monitoring and upgrading network hardware, implementing network designs, and supporting the seamless operation of ICT systems critical to education delivery. The ICT Network Manager will collaborate with school staff to provide effective and reliable ICT support.
Qualifications
Proficiency in Network Administration and Network Engineering.
Strong skills in Troubleshooting and Network Design to enhance and maintain ICT systems.
Experience with Network Security, ensuring the protection of systems and data from threats.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with staff and resolving issues effectively.
Relevant certifications (e.g. Microsoft Fundamentals, CompTIA A+) are advantageous.
Previous experience managing ICT networks in an educational setting is preferred.
