Maintenance Engineer - Electrical — Newark-on-Trent
£44k + Overtime + Training & Development + Benefits. Permanent - Double-Days Shift - Monday - Friday.
Responsibilities
* Proactive, planned-preventative maintenance to ensure the existing equipment is able to meet capacity demand and efficiency targets.
* Reactive maintenance to ensure minimal machine downtime.
* Identifying and delivering against opportunities to implement changes and continuous improvement projects to maximise plant efficiencies.
* Assisting with the introduction of new equipment to a market-leading production facility as part of our continued drive for innovation.
* Continuous professional development through industry specific training.
Requirements
* You will be an experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer with a strong electrical bias. Evidence of this electrical bias will include the following:
* Ability to install and programme an inverter on a three-phase induction motor.
* Ability to read and fault find on an electrical system.
* You will be able to fault find on PLCs, including the ability to change ladder logic - PLCs predominantly used on site. You will also have good knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics, with strong diagnostic skills and be proactive in your approach.
* Ideally Apprentice served, you will be qualified to ONC / HND / HNC, City & Guilds Level 3 or NVQ Level 3 - ideally in Electrical Maintenance - and be qualified to 17th / 18th Edition.
