About the Role
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Multi:Trade / Damp and Mould Operative to join a growing maintenance team delivering works across social housing and residential properties.
This is a varied role combining damp and mould treatment with general multi:trade repairs, ideal for someone with a strong maintenance background and experience working in occupied homes.
Key Responsibilities Inspect properties to identify causes of damp and mould, including condensation, leaks, and penetrating damp Carry out mould treatments, stain blocking, and apply anti:mould coatings Complete ventilation improvements such as installing vents and improving airflow Undertake multi:trade repairs including plastering, painting, basic carpentry, and general maintenance Carry out responsive repairs in occupied and void properties, ensuring minimal disruption Provide tenants with advice on preventing damp and mould recurrence Ensure all works are completed in line with health and safety regulations and company standards Accurately record job details using PDA/handheld systems Requirements Proven experience in damp and mould treatment and/or multi:trade maintenance Good understanding of damp causes and remedial solutions Experience within social housing or residential environments preferred Ability to carry out a range of trades to a good standard Strong customer service and communication skills Full UK driving licence (essential) What We Offer Competitive salary of GBP 36,000 Company van and fuel card Permanent, secure role with a growing organisation Opportunities for training and career progression Supportive and professional working environment How
