An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Conveyancing Legal Secretary to join a well-established law firm offering a comprehensive range of legal services, including commercial litigation, personal injury claims, matrimonial law, wills and probate, and conveyancing.
As a Conveyancing Legal Secretary, you will provide comprehensive secretarial support to a solicitor, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. This role offers a competitive salary and benefits.
You will be responsible for:
1. Communicating with clients and third parties in person and over the phone
2. Preparing and drafting transactional documentation with minimal supervision
3. Advising clients on paperwork requirements and providing timely updates
4. Opening client files and drafting necessary documents
5. Updating and maintaining the case management system
6. Managing the fee earner’s typing, filing, and correspondence
7. Handling post, calls, messages, and routine queries in the absence of fee earners
What we are looking for:
8. Previously worked as a Conveyancing Legal Secretary, Conveyancing Secretary, Conveyancing Assistant, Legal Secretary, Legal Assistant, Legal administrator, Legal Clerk or in a similar role.
9. Have prior conveyancing experience.
10. Audio and copy typing skills
11. Proactive and self-motivated approach to daily tasks
12. Familiarity with Microsoft Office is advantageous
