As a Care Assistant, you will play an important role in a close knit team, ensuring residents receive compassionate support each day. You will assist with daily routines, encourage independence and help to maintain each resident's health, wellbeing and happiness., You will support residents with their daily routines, including personal care, dressing and mobility, while encouraging independence and choice. You will follow individual care plans and provide attentive, person centred support that reflects each resident's preferences and needs. You will observe and report any changes in health or wellbeing to the Nurse or Clinical Deputy Manager and assist with communication with relatives and healthcare professionals. You will promote dignity, respect and privacy at all times and help to create a warm, welcoming and socially engaging environment within the home. You will work with colleagues to maintain safe, clean and comfortable living spaces, respond promptly to call bells and provide support with eating and drinking where required. Above all, you will bring kindness, reassurance and positivity to residents each day.
* SVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care is preferred.
* Previous experience as a Care Assistant is desirable, however candidates with a genuine passion for care and transferable skills will be considered.

£12.70 per hour
* Full time and part time contracts available on day shift and night shift
