A Tier 1 Specialist Consultancy is expanding its operations and seeking a dependable Legionella Risk Assessor to cover the North East Midlands region. This is a pivotal role within a growing team, offering the chance to manage high‑compliance environments for major commercial and MOD‑security cleared sites.
The Opportunity
You will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and compliance of complex water systems. Your day‑to‑day remit involves a blend of technical auditing and field‑based risk management.
* Conducting comprehensive Legionella Risk Assessments across diverse water systems.
* Performing detailed audits of management regimes and Written Schemes of Control.
* Executing internal quality checks to ensure rigorous technical standards are maintained.
* Delivering general water hygiene tasks including sampling, temperature monitoring, and flushing.
Technical Essentials
To be successful, you must demonstrate high‑level technical proficiency and a commitment to regulatory excellence:
* Mandatory: City & Guilds qualification in Legionella Risk Assessment.
* Compliance Expert: Deep working knowledge of ACoP L8, HSG274, and BS:8580.
* System Knowledge: Experience with complex systems, including water softeners, industrial processes, and vehicle washes.
* Reporting: Strong IT literacy (Word/Excel) with the ability to produce high‑quality technical reports.
* Vetting: Ability to pass Enhanced DBS and MOD security clearance.
* Mobility: Full UK Driving Licence (Regional travel required).
