Overview
My clients are seeking an experienced Dynamics 365 Business Central Functional Consultant to join their growing team. This role will be responsible for leading requirements gathering, solution design, system configuration, testing, training, and implementation activities across Business Central projects.
The successful candidate will work closely with stakeholders to understand business processes and translate requirements into scalable Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central solutions. You will play a key role in delivering digital transformation initiatives and helping clients maximise the value of their ERP investment.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead workshops and discovery sessions with business stakeholders to gather and document requirements
* Analyse existing business processes and identify opportunities for improvement through Dynamics 365 Business Central
* Configure and implement Business Central solutions across multiple functional areas
* Produce Functional Design Documents (FDDs), process maps, user stories, and solution documentation
* Support solution design and collaborate with technical consultants and developers on customisations and integrations
* Manage system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and defect resolution
* Deliver end-user training and create training materials and user guides
* Provide go-live support and post-implementation optimisation
* Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing guidance on best practices and future roadmap opportunities
* Support pre-sales activities including demonstrations, solution workshops, and proposal development
Required Skills & Experience
* Proven experience implementing Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
* Proven experience working across all core BC modules
* Strong understanding of ERP business processes and operational workflows
* Experience conducting workshops and gathering business requirements
* Ability to translate business requirements into functional solutions
* Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
* Experience supporting full project lifecycle implementations
* Knowledge of Business Central configuration, security, workflows, and reporting
* Experience working within Agile and Waterfall delivery environment
