Some children need a little extra support to feel safe, settled and ready to learn. That’s where you come in.
Protocol Education are working two schools in BS10 who are looking for a Behaviour Support Assistant to join them from Easter to the end of the academic year. This role is all about bringing consistency, calm energy and a patient, nurturing approach to support pupils who may need a bit more structure, reassurance and guidance throughout their day.
You’ll be working closely with teachers and staff to help children regulate their emotions, manage behaviour, and engage fully in learning. Your role could include one-to-one support, small group interventions, and helping to embed positive routines and strategies that give every child the best chance to succeed.
If you’re patient, resilient and genuinely passionate about helping young people thrive, this is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in a supportive and inclusive school environment. You’ll join a team that values collaboration, wellbeing and celebrating small wins, while helping pupils build confidence, independence and a love of learning.
We’d love to hear from you if you’re ready to step into this important and rewarding role after half-term.
