Are you passionate about supporting young people with additional needs, and ready for a rewarding full-time role? We’re looking for dedicated Teaching Assistants to join our independent specialist school for ages 11-16.
Our school is a safe, supportive space where students with specific learning difficulties and communication challenges (including autism) thrive—and your role will be key in helping them succeed!
Important: A valid driving license is a MUST to support our team and get around smoothly!
Responsibilities
* Supporting students 1:1 or in small groups
* Helping young people overcome challenges they’ve faced in mainstream education
* Being part of a caring, holistic environment where every student can shine
Qualifications
* Experience working with SEN children (1:1 or classroom support)
* Bonus points if trained in Safeguarding, Makaton, PECS, or Team Teach
* Genuine passion and patience for working with SEN learners
* Flexibility, proactivity & a collaborative spirit
* A valid driving license — absolutely essential!
* Full-time availability—this is a long-term commitment!
Requirements
* Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
* Overseas police check if applicable
* Up-to-date CV showcasing your experience
* Hands-on experience with children

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
