Strategic Account Executive - HSC at The Access Group
The Access Group is seeking a Strategic Account Executive in the Technology Enabled Care (TEC) division within Local Government. You will own revenue generation through a focused portfolio of high-value channel partners and hit ambitious sales targets by maximizing partner performance, driving deal velocity, and expanding market penetration across the local authority sector.
What we offer
We offer a flexible, hybrid working environment. We provide development opportunities, support for your career progression, a competitive salary, 25 days holiday (increasing with tenure), a matched pension scheme, and a range of benefits. We also allocate one charity day to support a cause that matters to you.
About you
As a Strategic Account Executive, you will manage revenue through a portfolio of TEC partners, treating each as a strategic sales channel requiring nurturing, enablement, and performance management to deliver consistent results.
Responsibilities
* Drive revenue through strategic partner management by engaging with C-suite and senior leadership to align partner sales strategies with quota objectives and develop joint value propositions for Local Government deals.
* Own the partner sales pipeline by collaborating with Product Marketing to develop compelling partner propositions that increase win rates and deal sizes across your territory.
* Maximise revenue per partner by strengthening relationships, driving TEC sales velocity, and identifying cross-sell opportunities across the Access portfolio to exceed quota.
* Orchestrate deal execution by coordinating Internal Access resources to support partner-led opportunities, manage channel conflicts, and ensure optimal deal progression; lead price strategy for tender submissions.
* Remove sales barriers by monitoring partner implementation processes and addressing obstacles that could impact deal closure and revenue recognition.
* Maintain competitive advantage by staying current with market intelligence, competitor positioning, and procurement trends to identify new revenue opportunities and protect the pipeline.
* Master the solution portfolio with expert knowledge of Access TEC propositions and related solutions to maximise cross-sell potential and deal value.
* Manage relationships with the partner's Procurement, Operations and Finance leads to align supply to demand across multiple locations and streamline order-to-invoice processing.
* Project manage actions, risks and issues to drive commercial success for each contract, escalating appropriately internally and at the partner as needed.
Qualifications and skills
* Extensive experience in channel management, sales, or business development in senior B2B sales roles.
* Proven ability to manage and nurture channel partner relationships, driving growth through strategic collaboration and ongoing support.
* Project and change management skills to drive adoption of Access' software and partner/customer service models in social care contexts.
* Ability to work independently or in a small team with integrity and a commitment to self-development and lifelong learning.
* Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with attention to detail and time management, able to prioritise a demanding workload.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office; Salesforce experience is advantageous.
* Valid UK driving licence.
