Your Role
As a core Vehicle Technician in our Andover team, you will:
- Mechanical & Electrical Repair: Carry out routine car servicing, mechanical maintenance, engine work, and chassis repairs to strict manufacturer guidelines.
- Diagnostics: Use advanced brand‑specific diagnostic tools to identify, investigate, and rectify complex electrical and mechanical faults.
- Servicing: Perform comprehensive vehicle health checks, safety‑critical inspections, and routine software updates.
- Technical Quality: Maintain strict "right first time" repair standards to maximize workshop efficiency and deliver complete customer satisfaction.
- Reporting: Complete clear digital job cards and video health checks to provide transparent updates to our service advisor team.
What You Need
- Qualifications: NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) in Motor Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
- Technical Skill: Solid experience working within a busy garage or dealership environment, with strong mechanical knowledge and confident fault‑finding skills.
- Certification: An MOT tester licence is highly desirable but not essential.
- Attributes: A reliable technician who takes genuine pride in technical accuracy, backs their own ability, and loves working within a collaborative team.
