This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional to provide high-quality physiotherapy services within a dynamic healthcare environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing acute respiratory physiotherapy on medical and surgical wards, as well as planning and facilitating patient discharges. This role requires strong clinical skills, the ability to supervise junior staff, and a commitment to patient-centered care. What will your responsibilities be : As a Band 6 Physiotherapist, your role involves providing acute respiratory physiotherapy care to patients in medical and surgical wards. You will create and execute personalized treatment plans, track patient progress, and modify interventions as necessary. Your responsibilities include coordinating discharge plans, educating and supporting patients and their families, and ensuring seamless care continuity. Additionally, you will oversee Band 5 physiotherapists, appropriately delegate tasks to Band 3 and 4 staff, and enhance the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the physiotherapy team. Qualifications and Experience: Degree in Physiotherapy Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) Minimum of 2 years of experience in acute respiratory physiotherapy Experience in managing patients on medical and surgical wards Strong skills in discharge planning Ability to supervise and support junior staff Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Commitment to continuous professional development Why work with Pulse?
