Pay: £26.00 per hour Job Description: Well-Edu CIC is looking for qualified teachers, who are passionate about children’s wellbeing, to join a quickly expanding team! We are not your ‘usual’ tuition service. Well-Edu is led by an experienced teacher and ex-OFSTED inspector to super-charge both the child’s emotional and academic development, shaking up the current climate in schools for both staff and students. Our recruitment aim is to find the best teachers that are looking to break free of the norm to provide interactive and fun lessons with strategies embedded to promote a love of learning and techniques to promote positive mental health in the classroom and beyond. The Role Prepare and deliver interactive lessons to students with clear development objectives whilst embedding Well-Edu techniques for wellbeing into every lesson. Assess the needs of the students and ensure their learning needs are supported to advance their educational and emotional skill set. Create lesson reports to keep a record of progress and to update parents/carers about the student’s learning and development. Adhere to all policies lined out by Well-Edu including Data Protection, Safeguarding, and reporting safeguarding concerns to the Designated Safeguarding Lead. Develop strong professional relationships with students, parents/carers and the Well-Edu team. Attend training which aims to train tutors to better support students, refresh knowledge in topics such as Safeguarding and to develop individual skill sets.
