Overview
An opportunity has arisen for an Advanced Technical Trainer to join a well-established engineering training environment delivering specialist apprenticeship programmes.
The organisation supports a wide range of engineering disciplines, including agricultural, motor vehicle and large transport vehicle engineering, with significant investment in modern training facilities and equipment.
About the Role
Due to continued growth, the organisation is seeking a motivated and innovative trainer to deliver high-quality training and assessment for Bus and Coach apprentices.
This is a hands-on role focused on delivering practical and theoretical training to apprentices attending on block release, supporting them in developing the skills and knowledge required within the industry.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver apprenticeship training in line with industry and awarding body standards
* Plan and deliver engaging practical and classroom-based sessions
* Carry out vocational assessments both on-site and across wider programmes
* Ensure all activities meet health and safety, compliance and safeguarding standards
Candidate Requirements
* Previous industry experience within Bus and Coach, including operations, maintenance or engineering
* A minimum Level 3 qualification in a relevant subject
* Experience in training, teaching or mentoring would be advantageous
* Good understanding of industry regulations and health and safety requirements
* A proactive and motivated approach with an interest in developing others
Additional Information
Teaching qualifications are not essential. Support may be provided for candidates willing to work towards an appropriate teaching qualification.
