Join a Team at the Forefront of Surgical Innovation
We're looking for a Surgical Care Practitioner to join our Theatres at London Bridge Hospital, currently rated "Outstanding" by the CQC. The theatres across our campus provide a vibrant, exciting, and professional environment where the advance equipment and technology is second to none.
London Bridge Hospital offers an exciting opportunity for Robotic Surgical Assistants who want to take their career to the next level. Our state-of-the-art operating theatres support a wide range of specialties, with a strong focus on advanced robotic surgery in Urology, Gynaecology, Thoracic, Colorectal and Upper GI.
As a key member of our theatre team, you'll work hands‑on with three Da Vinci Surgical Systems and contribute to one of the UK's largest private multi‑specialty robotic surgery programmes — with nearly 6,000 robotic procedures completed. You'll also have the rare opportunity to work with a Da Vinci Single Port system, one of only a handful currently available in the country.
Although this role is based within Private Care at Guy's Theatres, you will also play a key role in supporting services across both of our London Bridge sites — Main Theatres on Tooley Street and Guy's Theatres within the Guy's Cancer Centre. This cross-site working offers great exposure, a wider clinical experience and the opportunity to collaborate with a diverse and highly skilled surgical team. It's an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys variety and wants to make an impact across two dynamic surgical environments.
What You Will Do
Assist world‑class surgeons in complex robotic procedures
Develop specialist skills with cutting‑edge robotic technology
Work within a highly experienced, forward‑thinking theatre team
Play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient outcomes
Successful candidates will join a large, experienced theatre team committed to excellence. We have a strong record of supporting career progression and provide ongoing development opportunities for those looking to advance or broaden their skills. If you're passionate about delivering outstanding patient care, working with pioneering technology, and growing within a highly skilled team, London Bridge Hospital offers an environment where you can truly thrive.
At HCA UK we care about what you care about. We care that you want to deliver the very best care. We care that you want a career you can be proud of. We care that you want working conditions that support your health and wellbeing. Let us care for you and your career, the same way you do for others.
