A Vacancy at Hertfordshire Community NHS Trust.
This role will provide administrative support on an "as and when basis" to the Norfolk and Waveney Community and School Aged Immunisation Service, which delivers a variety of immunisations across the county of Norfolk in multiple venues and settings across all age ranges.
We are recruiting to bank/reservist administrative positions to support the team at times of increased workload. The successful candidate will support in community clinics and in school sessions across Norfolk & Waveney, as well as working in the office base to provide administrative support to the planning and management of school and other vaccination clinics. There will also be telephone queries and clinic bookings from a variety of service users.
There is a significant amount of driving as part of the role across the county on a daily basis.
Responsibilities
* Provide administrative support on an "as and when basis" to the immunisation service, including clerical tasks in a variety of settings.
* Support in community clinics, schools, and other vaccination venues across Norfolk & Waveney; assist with planning and management of vaccination clinics.
* Handle telephone queries and assist with clinic bookings from service users.
* Assist in the office base with administrative tasks related to vaccination services.
Qualifications and Skills
* Enthusiastic and highly motivated with a desire to improve health and wellbeing of communities by supporting vaccination delivery.
* Experience of working with a variety of ages; experience in a health care setting is useful.
* Excellent communication skills (spoken and written) and ability to establish good working relationships with children and adults.
* IT literate with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Excel.
* Ability to organise and plan workload with accuracy and attention to detail.
* Experience of working with Systmone electronic health records would be an advantage.
* A full valid driving licence and access to a car to use regularly for business purposes is essential (unless you have a disability as defined by the Equality Act 2010).
* There is a significant amount of driving as part of the role across the county on a daily basis.
