A fantastic opportunity for a proactive and accomplished manager to join a forward-thinking independent leisure business. As Head of Guest Services this role will be pinnacle in redefining the guest services and accommodation functions to ensure guest expectations are exceeded.

Duties and Responsibilities:
This is an exciting role responsible for the entire customer service journey for the guest, right from the initial booking and information provided through to arrival process, any issues throughout the stay, the departure and guest feedback.
With a large team, including department managers this is a fast-paced role where the successful candidate will need to be one step ahead of guests requirements and ensure any problems are proactively managed.
To proactively manage Guest Services, Reception /Reservations, Housekeeping and Touring departments
To ensure all guest touch points are managed effectively
To lead and develop a team and foster a culture of guest service
To manage your departments HR function including training, PDRs, learning & development
Analysing guest feedback and proactively using this information to enhance future guest satisfaction collaborating with other department heads
Ensuring pre arrival and arrival/departure processes are seamless, well executed and guest led
Proactively managing private owners requests and information
Managing all department costs including wages, stock and housekeeping / linen spend
Collaborate with the marketing department around special events
Working with the in-house Health & Safety officer to ensure compliance within the department
Candidate Requirements:
We are looking to speak to operators who come from a guest services role, ideally with experience of Holliday Park or comparable scale Leisure Operations.
Candidate should be able to demonstrate their ability to deliver performance through highly trained and engaged teams whilst maintaining very high standards.
This role presents an opportunity to work with an ambitious independent company within which HODs are expected to be creative, entrepreneurial and proactive in developing the business outside of the constraints of large company branded offers.
