The successful candidate will provide efficient, effective, and timely administrative support for the Social Care Admin and Social Work Teams. This support will include:
1. Liaison with partner agencies and colleagues within the wider health and social care service.
2. Maintaining effective communication and administrative systems to a high standard.
3. Undertaking financial and general administrative tasks to support the service.
4. Processing financial information on Local Authority Systems and assisting in keeping accurate records of transactions, including processing invoices for providers.
5. Dealing discretely and efficiently with telephone calls, relaying messages courteously and professionally, conveying a high level of customer care.
6. Liaising with service users, relatives/carers, GPs, medical staff, community services, and other agencies efficiently.
7. Maintaining up-to-date filing systems (paper and electronic) ensuring confidentiality and security of information in accordance with policies and legislation.
8. Assisting in the delivery and development of the service using Local Authority and CPFT IT systems, generating reports, documents, letters, and emails.
9. Servicing meetings by arranging dates, venues, preparing papers and agendas, and taking minutes as appropriate.
10. Liaising with partner agencies to ensure appropriate service delivery.
11. Recording and maintaining data integrity using agreed procedures for safe storage and prompt retrieval.
12. Ensuring all correspondence is copied onto the Trust and Local Authority electronic records system promptly.
13. Carrying out any other duties reasonably deemed within the scope of the post.
