Construction Project Manager – Industrial & Commercial Projects – London/South East
My client, a well-established property consultancy with a strong track record in delivering industrial and commercial real estate schemes, is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to join their growing Project & Building Consultancy division.
This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially minded and technically proficient Project Manager to take ownership of CAT A/B fit-outs, refurbishments, and industrial redevelopment projects for a diverse client base of investors, landlords, and developers.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the end-to-end delivery of commercial and industrial projects, from feasibility and planning through to procurement, construction, and handover
* Act as a trusted advisor to clients, managing expectations, providing strategic input, and ensuring schemes are aligned with commercial goals
* Coordinate multi-disciplinary teams, including internal building surveyors, external consultants, and contractors
* Prepare and manage detailed project programmes, risk registers, and cost plans
* Provide regular reporting to clients on progress, quality, and risk, maintaining high standards of communication and transparency
* Monitor contractor performance, compliance, and health & safety standards during site works
* Support team leads in business development, including preparing bids, attending pitches, and identifying opportunities within the industrial and logistics sector
Required Skills & Experience:
* A proven track record of delivering construction projects in the industrial, logistics, or commercial office sectors
* Strong contract administration skills (JCT preferred), with sound knowledge of construction delivery and fit-out processes
* Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
* Comfortable working both independently and within a collaborative team environment
* Relevant degree (e.g., Building Surveying, Construction Management) and ideally chartered status (MRICS, MAPM or equivalent) or working towards
The Offer:
* Salary in the region of £50,000 – £65,000, depending on experience
* Annual bonus based on performance - between 8-12%
