Job Title: Multi Trade Carpenter Job Type: Temporary to Permanent, Full-Time Sector: Property Services (Social Housing) Location: Harrow Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 17:00 Pay: £23 per hour (CIS) - Temporary Period £38,000 per annum - Permanent Salary We are currently recruiting for a skilled and reliable Multi Trade Carpenter to join a leading housing provider delivering responsive repairs and maintenance across social housing properties for local authorities and housing associations. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity, offering long-term stability and career progression. Key Responsibilities: Carry out reactive and planned carpentry works in both occupied and void properties. Undertake a variety of carpentry tasks including door hanging, frame repairs, lock replacements, skirting, architraves, and kitchen unit adjustments. Complete associated multi-trade duties such as patch plastering, basic tiling, painting, and general making-good following repairs. Diagnose faults and carry out effective repairs to maintain property standards and minimise disruption to residents. Ensure all works are completed in accordance with health and safety regulations and organisational procedures. Use PDA devices to receive work orders, update job progress, and maintain accurate records.
