The Role: Transform Lives as an AP Teacher in Blackpool This is a hugely rewarding role for a teacher who believes in the potential of every young person, especially those disengaged from mainstream education. You will work with small groups and individuals, designing a flexible, engaging curriculum that addresses Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and barriers to learning. What You Will Do: Deliver Bespoke Lessons: Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons across a range of subjects (e.g., English, Maths, Humanities, or a vocational/enrichment subject) up to KS4, focusing on core skills and life-ready outcomes. Be a Mentor: Build strong, positive, and professional relationships with students who may have experienced trauma, loss, or rejection. Act as a consistent and supportive role model. Manage Behaviour: Utilise excellent behaviour management and de-escalation skills, applying therapeutic and nurturing approaches to create a safe, consistent learning environment.
