As a Cyber Security Architect you will work on complex systems provided by Thales, providing specialist security architecture, technical leadership and guidance to design, develop and maintain reliable, secure, and accreditable security solutions that meet project needs. You will advise on high‑level, security‑compliant architecture, contribute to the design of preliminary and detailed solutions, conduct risk assessments, and evaluate architectures against business policy and major cybersecurity standards such as NIST, ISO, and JSP.
 * Consult on potential security component architectures (e.g., SIEM, IAM, gateways, detection and deception capabilities).
 * Produce justification for architectural choices and ensure technical coordination across multidisciplinary teams.
 * Present, recommend and demonstrate solutions to customer representatives, peers, or technical teams.
 * Produce engineering and architecture reports, specifications, and design documents.
 * Verify architectures and solutions against established requirements.
 * Develop documentation to enable accreditation and certification of solutions.
 * Develop and deliver security training for specific user communities, tailored to existing knowledge and learning outcomes.
 * Collaborate with cyber suppliers and vendors for technical assessment of products to select suitable solutions.
Profile
 * Graduated in Engineering or Computer Science, or hold relevant industry certifications (CISSP, Cisco, CCP, etc.).
 * Experience advising on security solutions with consideration of customer needs.
 * Collaboration with domain architects to secure solutions.
 * Valued proposition on crucial and sensitive programmes.
Competencies
 * Define architectures independently or in collaboration with specialists.
 * Proficiency in Infrastructure Security Design, Security Supervision Design, and Information Systems Security (ISS).
 * Support and advise the wider team.
 * Familiarity with Risk Analysis, Network Security, Cryptography, Identity & Access Management, and the NIST Cybersecurity Framework, including cloud technologies.
 * Monitor and measure risk and compliance.
 * Work effectively with customers and technical teams.
Nice to Have
 * Domain knowledge in Defence, Nuclear, Government, Aerospace, CNI, Transport.
 * Experience with Risk Management and Accreditation.
