Overview
My client is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to ensure that buildings, plant, and equipment remain safe, reliable, compliant, and fully operational, while minimising downtime, risk, and cost across the workplace.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver scheduled PPM and reactive maintenance across allocated sites.
* Work safely and follow all compliance and Health & Safety guidelines.
* Build strong relationships with colleagues.
* Accurately update and close jobs
* Assess and complete requests efficiently.
* Order and collect materials as needed for repair tasks
Job Related Skills
* General building fabric maintenance – e.g. Basic Joinery, Painting, Basic plumbing and minor floor repairs
* Maintain clear and accurate documentation.
* Fault finding on all types of machinery
* Provide Electrical and Mechanical expertise to the business working on Heavy Industrial Machines.
* Liaise with onsite colleagues to understand related issues, responding confidently and accurately as required
* Identify issues beyond repair, undertake survey and escalate with recommendations.
* Work collaboratively with the wider team to uphold site standards.
* Perform ad hoc duties as and when required
