1. JOB IDENTIFICATION Job Title: Workshop Assistant Location: Aberdeen 2. JOB PURPOSE A workshop assistant supports workshop operations by handling general maintenance, preparing materials and equipment, and assisting technicians, ensuring a clean and functional work environment. Key responsibilities include housekeeping, tool management, material preparation, local deliveries, and supporting technicians as directed. Desired traits for this role are trustworthiness, self-motivation, teamwork, and strong communication skills, as well as the potential to learn and grow within the workshop environment. 3. REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS Directly reports to: Production Team Lead 4. FINANCIAL RESPONSIBILITIES - Individual project budgets to be managed in accordance with TAQA Well Completions procedures and appropriate approvals as per company’s Manual of Authority. - Monitoring of all costs associated with the workshop area to maximise the benefits of all expenditure with no compromise in relation to quality or safety. 5. KEY ACTIVITIES - Work Shop Maintenance: perform general housekeeping, including sweeping floors, cleaning equipment, managing waste and maintaining the cleanliness of work areas and yards. - Equipment & Material Management: Prepare components, maintain and organize tools, and assist with the storage and packaging of materials, support Goods in/ Goods out via the Epicor business system, Pulling stock items and kitting Job Travelers. - Support to Technicians: Assist technicians, or other professionals by performing tasks as directed, such as degreasing parts, cleaning equipment, helping with repairs or assisting with Mech Tool builds under supervision. - Logistics & Deliveries: Carry out local deliveries and pick-ups of parts or materials, and assist with the collection and dispatch of products - Safety & Compliance: Adhere to Health, Safety, and Quality procedures and ensure the workshop operates in a safe manner. - Basic Administration: Maintain records and databases, and assist with basic administrative tasks as required. 6. INDIVIDUAL QHSE RESPONSIBILITIES - To demonstrate commitment to the quality of service, including quality of records produced, aiming at meeting and exceeding customer expectations. - To demonstrate personal commitment to protection of Health, Safety and the Environment; - To follow company QHSE Policy, relevant operational procedures, HSE procedures and risk assessments; - To communicate and report on any perceived non-conformances or faults in the service provided or in the company’s Quality or HSE Management Systems. 7. QUALIFICATIONS Essential: Clean UK Driving License Preferred: Previous workshop experience 8. EXPERIENCE / SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE - Customer Service: An ability to provide quality service and a positive customer experience. - Physical Fitness: The role is often physically demanding - Attention to Detail: Required for tasks like measuring and maintaining records. 9.
