Job description
Salary awarded is based on skills assessment at interview.
This role is available full-time for 37 hours per week, Monday-Friday, or part-time with a minimum of 28 hours per week. Flexible or compressed working hours available.
This role is office based.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Design, build, and test electronic circuits and printed circuit boards.
2. Join a product development team working on hardware products and security solutions.
3. Create and maintain electronic hardware for custom-designed security products.
4. Modify existing designs and collaborate on new product designs.
5. Receive training and support for professional development, including external courses and research time.
About You
To apply, you will have:
* Experience in design and testing of analogue, digital, and microcontroller-based systems.
* Understanding of product and system design and development.
* Relevant work experience or qualifications, such as an HND in electrical/electronic engineering.
Beneficial but not essential:
* Further qualifications in electrical/electronic or mechanical engineering (degree 2:2 or higher).
* Experience with electronic schematic capture, PCB design, RF design, EMC, and signal integrity.
* Knowledge of PCB manufacturing processes.

Role Activities
* Design, develop, and document electronic PCB systems.
* Verify designs through testing and peer reviews.
* Support products and investigate defects.
* Contribute to library parts creation and project planning.
